WestStar Credit Union is committed to protecting the privacy of
our member's financial records consistent with federal and state
laws. In the course of providing services to you, we collect information
about you, some of which is non-public personal information. We
do not sell your non-public personal information, but we do share
such information with our service providers and others to better
serve you. We share your non-personal information only with contractual
safeguards to protect the confidentiality of your information. We
maintain strong security controls to safeguard the privacy and accuracy
of communications and transactions to protect our members' confidentiality.
The purpose of this notice is to inform you of the credit union's
Privacy Policy. We ask that you read it carefully.
Definitions
Nonpublic personal information: information about you
that we collect in connection with providing a financial product
or service to you and does not include information that is available
from public sources such as telephone directories or government
records.
Nonaffiliated third party: a company that the credit union
does not own or control, such as financial service providers,
nonfinancial companies and others.

WestStar Credit Union collects and retains information about you
from the following sources: information we receive from you on
applications or other forms; information about your transactions
with us, our affiliates, or with nonaffiliated third parties;
information we receive from an outside source such as a consumer
reporting agency, or information contained in emails.
Disclosure of Information about Former
Members
If you decide to terminate your membership with us or become an
inactive member, we will follow the privacy policies and practices
as described in this notice.
Confidentiality and Security
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.

Disclosure of Information to Parties that Provide Services
to Us
In order that we may provide members competitive products and
services, we may disclose all of the information we collect, as
described above, to companies that perform marketing or other
services on our behalf and to other financial service providers
with whom we have joint marketing agreements. We may also disclose
non-public personal information about you to non-affiliated third
parties as permitted or required by law. These disclosures typically
include information to process transactions on your behalf, conduct
our operations, follow your instructions as you authorize, or
protect the security of your financial records.
Fair Credit Reporting Act Disclosure
We are permitted by law to share any information about transactions
or experiences with you. However, information taken from credit
reports will not be exchanges or shared with anyone.

If you have a joint account, an opt-out instruction given by
one participant of this account will affect all participants of
