Other Software There are literally hundreds of third party pop-up blockers, so it is virtually impossible to document the procedure for disabling each one. If the end user does not know if they have the pop-up blocking software, ask them if they receive pop-ups when surfing the web.  Some other useful tips:
  • Some pop-pop blockers will install themselves either within the browser toolbar or within the Windows taskbar along the bottom right corner.
  • End users can determine whether or not they have pop-up blocker software installed within their browser by, simply right clicking on the toolbar just to the right of the “Help” option.  If the software is installed within the browser, it will be listed there.  If the software is checked in this window, it should be visible to the user within the toolbar.
  • In addition, another useful troubleshooting suggestion is to hold down the control key to allow the pop up.  However, this works about 30% of the time and only with Microsoft software.

eTeller Online Help

  • eTeller requires the use of Internet Explorer 6 or higher due to enhanced functionality. Older browsers will not work properly.

To verify your browser version, while it is open, from the menu bar at the top, click Help then About Internet Explorer. If you do not see version 6.0 or higher you can download the latest version by following this link

  • If you have never signed up for eTeller, you must submit an eTeller application from our Online Forms page first.  A representative will process your application and email your temporary access password.
  • For your account number, you may refer to your checkbook, transaction receipt or account statement.  Account numbers are generally 7 digits long.  The last digit is the check digit and is also the number after the dash.  For example?on the bottom of your checkbook you will see our R&T number, 322484634 followed by some space, then your account number 1234567.  The number you enter into eTeller is then, 123456-7, the ?dash? is important to the system.
  • For security reasons, when you are done with your session, always click on "Sign Off" in the upper right hand corner. For additional security, close your browser after signing off.
  • When changing your password, make sure you use at least 4 alpha characters and 2 numeric characters.  Remember passwords are ?case sensitive?.
  • If you input your password incorrectly more than three times, your account will be ?locked out?.  To have your account unlocked, please contact a Member Service Representative during regular business hours at (702) 791-4777 in Las Vegas or (800) 729-9328 outside Las Vegas for assistance.  You may also email us at info@weststar.org any time.
  • When entering the dollar amount for transfers or loan payments it is NOT necessary to include the dollar sign ($).   You must use a decimal point for transactions with exact change.  For example, if you input [1] [0] [0], the system will assume you mean $100.  If your payment is $101.53, input [1] [0] [1] [.] [5] [3].
  • When transferring funds to another account make sure you check the box that says: "To Transfer To A Different Account, Check Here."  You must have an ?Optional Services Form? completed and on file at the credit union in order to use this service.
